Meadowsweet was the first herb from which Asprin was first synthesised. A firm favourite, Meadowsweet is anti inflammatory, carminative diuretic, digestive and has lots of useful actions.
Having a particular type of flavonoid which is unique to meadowsweet, it complements innate immunity and aids the removal of free radicals.
Great for stomach problems, drying internal tissues, and also useful externally for joints, muscle aches and pains, and ulcerated skin.
It is indicated for reducing pain, soothing the gut in cases of ulcers, reducing reflux. Meadowsweet has a stimulating nervine actions so helpful for aged and degenerative conditions.
